Kimbell Art Museum This museum features 18th-century British portraits and late Renaissance art, including works by Goya, El Greco, Ribera, Murillo, Canaletto, Tintoretto, Caravaggio, Tiepolo, Rubens, Van Dyck, Cuyp, Monet, Matisse, and Cezanne. Their collection spans from antiquity to the 20th century. The museum also has a substantial collection of Asian arts and Mesoamerican and African pieces. A small group of Olmec, Aztec, and Mayan pieces are also on display. The building was designed by Louis Kahn and is considered one of his best efforts.

More than 200 luxury retail stores draw hardcore shoppers to one of the top five largest malls in the U.S. Following a massive expansion that was completed in 2006, this upscale retail center, originally built in 1965, became the largest shopping center in North Texas, offering hundreds of stores, restaurants, and galleries in an architecturally impressive setting. Organized around a central landscaped garden, the grounds are enhanced by sculpture, paintings and prints from 20th-century artists such as Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, and Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen.
